DUB NATTY SESSIONS was founded in “Caricuao”, a small ghetto southeast of Caracas, Venezuela, to revive the sound of Dub and spread the message of peace and love. It was the year 2009 and they were the first Reggae Dub band in Venezuela.

In 2013, the band moved to the UK, where they recorded their first album with no one else than Dennis Bovell, living legend and creator of the Reggae movement in the UK.

Dennis “Blackbeard” Bovell was one of the founders of MATUMBI and collaborated with many known reggae artists like, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Alpha Blondy, Steel Pulse, Lee Scratch Perry, Dennis Brown and many more.

This first album was mixed and produced by Dennis Bovell, who also participated with the lyrics as a special guest.

Right now, Dub Natty Sessions is recording their new album with some of the biggest names in the Reggae scene. This time, Dennis Bovell is playing the bass, apart of producing, together with Henry “Buttons” Tenyue (Trombone) and Eddie "Tan Tan" Thornton (Trumpet), Michael "Bammi" Rose (Saxophone),MAD PROFESSOR mix this second album.
